Camping at Bugs on the Bayou

The camping at Bugs on the Bayou is what makes the show so unique, but to keep it fun for all, there are some rules that must be followed.

• Absolutely no campfires at all! No exceptions. We love our giant oaks and can't risk them being destroyed.

• No saving spots. If you want to camp in a group please arrive with your group. It's not fair to those that show up early to claim a spot only to have it being held for someone showing up later.

• Pack in, pack out. Please don't leave trash behind. There will be trash cans on site to dispose of your waste. If it doesn't fit in the trash cans, please take it with you.

• Golf carts...This is a question we get asked a lot! We cannot allow golf carts due to insurance. We are only insured for our staff to drive golf carts. We cannot make exceptions to this rule.

• No unruly behavior. If you're out of control and being a bother to others, you will be asked to leave.

• Tent/bus/Vanagon camping is FREE and there is water and power at most of the sites. RV camping is $60 for the entire weekend. We have 20 RV camping spots available for reservation. We have decreased the number of RV spots but made them bigger this year. We will also have a standby list for RV spots and people will be moved up to available spots based on their place on the list.
